In the heart of the salt marshes, a classified and protected site, you will witness the traditional salt harvest from May to September, depending on the weather, a real spectacle in a peaceful environment. During walks through the labyrinth of salt marshes, it is common to encounter herons, egrets, avocets, tadorns and other marsh birds in this fragile and beautiful territory.

Many 17th and 18th century houses can be discovered in the salt marsh villages: Saillé, Kervalet, Clis.
